This morning, I got up early to see what was happening in the Crossbell Discord community. I saw a "newcomer" posting a lot of information under the guise of an announcement, and with the thought of Colib being released last night, I naturally assumed it was a new bot.
As a Web3 newbie, I clicked in to see that it was about free NFTs, which made me happy, so I quickly logged in. However, I found out that I didn't qualify. Hilarious.
Luckily, @adazz reminded me that there are no free lunches in this world, and if there are, they might end up hurting someone.
You need to understand crypto security knowledge first, as your actions may lead to asset loss.
Do not click on any unknown content, and always verify content from people you know before deciding whether to click (even people you know can have their accounts stolen and post phishing content).
Remember.
